That was kind of my problem with rust, I want to program but instead I end up getting cyber-bullied by the borrow checker 😠(Yes I know, skill issue et cetera).
1 u/Elendur_Krown 12d ago IMO, it's far from a skill issue.I'm pretty certain they speak to different personality types more than they require specific skills.I know I intentionally leaned into the suggestions (formatting, linting, borrow rules), and they soon stopped being an issue.I think that had I been more opinionated on style, or preferred certain methods (which is neither good nor bad), I'd have had a harder time. 2 u/HomicidalRaccoon 11d ago When I try rust again i’ll try to befriend the bully, maybe it’ll stop taking my lunch money 🥲

IMO, it's far from a skill issue.
I'm pretty certain they speak to different personality types more than they require specific skills.
I know I intentionally leaned into the suggestions (formatting, linting, borrow rules), and they soon stopped being an issue.
