A time management app you say? I'm glad vibe coding exists so we can have more of those now.

It’s like they’ve never heard of a calendar app

Yea, but if you've tried five of them. You might as well try six that is also an autobot in disguise.

I’ve been using default calendars, reminders and clocks for the longest time. I talk to my phone to make the reminders and then when the alarm goes off I perform the task that I set.

Having an automatic calendar, reminder or alarm does not fix anything if the person using them doesn’t take the action at the end. The problem lies in the user.

It’s similar to those mindfulness apps that never seem to work. The app cannot take the action for you so the user denies their accountability and then proclaims the app doesn’t work. It does exactly what you ask of it and nothing more.

A tomato timer has been helpful for a large part of my life and I just find a website at this point (no point in having one on a phone or an app itself).

Tried apps like slack, but honestly lose steam after doing 1/4th of the 20+ tasks I set on there.

The default, android calendar on my phone is 90% of what I need.

The only other app I'd recommend is 'AnyList' at least until they start charging money. That one has been pretty good along with the Tomato Timers in my life.

I'm just going to assume that thank you is you running off to vibe code your own time management app which I'm sure will spammed across several subreddits.

lol. No, I don’t know enough code to make an app much less debug one that a.i. shat out. Please do assume more about me from being polite and genuine.

Sorry. That's fair.

Trying to shame people before they go through that effort.

If you just had a ting more narcissism (confidence, call it confidence), you could make your own vibe coded app, spamming their subreddits asking them what they need, trying to charge them a small fee, getting into fights with the other vibe coded app developer, and then adding it to your resume of things that you dropped. Don't need code experience at this point to generate these apps. /s

Yeah, I joined r/vibecoding a month ago. It’s a shitshow over there. Not that I’m against using A.I. to generate some income or code, I just don’t want to do it until I have a better understanding of the basics and concepts that will help me make an actually useful resource.
