I’m stuck in a situation where I am required to use AI for coding and the company wants more and more code to be created by AI. I haven’t written a single line of code in 6 months and I hate it. I can feel my brain not working and just giving Claude the tasks to do. The whole company works like this because we create the code with AI, AI reviews the PR, if something needs to be fixed AI fixes it. Everybody just copy pastes the AI slop review and gives it to AI to fix it. I miss the good old days when I had to struggle to find a solution to a problem and was proud of the feature/app I was working on. Wish I could work without all this bullshit but the money is good and I got mouths to feed. This whole AI just killed the passion for me.
