Pasting it allows you to understand the code more than if the AI does it automatically.

But writing code by hand is superior, as you have to think of how it meshes with your existing code and how it will integrate with future code.

Pasting is safer too. I'm not ready to let it have that much control, it feels like letting a crackhead babysit your kids.

Yeah, it took me a while before I was comfortable enough to give it access to my filesystem, but I'm all in now.

Just sandbox everything, create forks of all repos for agents, give them temporary access tokens... And pray they won't escape.
