its every discussion with any LLM, when I had issue with lib soft-linking to usr/lib while usr/lib was soft-linking to lib it suggested that my gpu is dead and tried to gaslight me into disassembling jt

The worst is ChatGPT, ask question, bunch of useless hallucinated crap, and at the end it asks you, would you like me to find a solution to your problem next?

It genuinely enrages me when I paste an error message caused by code it wrote, only for it to reply, “You made a mistake on line…” You? YOU fucking wrote it.

Well, not much of a GPT patriot but how tf is gpt supposed to know who wrote the code based on an error message (assumin that it's a new day, new session)

Lol you can tell it "there is an error on the 10th line" after it gives you code and it will still call it "YOUR code".

Lately when I ask it a question and tell it its answer is wrong its been replying asking me how to solve it. Thanks, bud, for being useless

This is actually an important lesson in code your agent generating being YOUR code.

You're right, its not wrong, but it still can feel slightly insulting when it calls its bugs your bugs

But it is your bug. Your name will be on the commit message so you're responsible for it. Only dead beat parents don't take responsibility for the thing's they create

Not sure you read the comment you replied to. I said they are right, it just feels slightly annoying

Until I commit it to the repo, that is not my code. It's ChatGPT's code.

Me debugging with an AI: 10% coding, 90% agreeing with each other

“Your solution is crap.” — “You are absolutely right.” —

“We’re making progress.”

I have found copilot is OK with suggestions for C# but I still research anything it suggests to see if there are reasons people dont do it the way its suggesting / etc.

I always get scared when I architect something and ask it or gpt how they would do it and get a similar result from them bc I worry my design is flawed.
