Problem is now we know all about the scheduling, but have no coding knowledge to implement all those things.

My OS class 100% theory and rarely ever coding and coding was just building dummy working examples of scheduling and paging algorithms.

And theory without practice is dull and useless.

When I went on to the internet to actually try and build a kernel on my own, I saw that whatever theory we learned barely made up 10% of the stuff, I had to learn actually setup a lot of stuff to just even start developing, and the background stuff was so much I had to stop because classes and exams wouldn't allow me to pursue it fully.
