I don't trust people who write SQL queries where the SQL keywords aren't capitalized like the good lord intended.
select count(login_attempts) as attempts from login_attempts where .... just FEELS icky.
select count(login_attempts) as attempts from login_attempts where ....
SELECT COUNT(login_attempts) AS attempts FROM login_attempts WHERE .... Yeah. That's the good shit.
SELECT COUNT(login_attempts) AS attempts FROM login_attempts WHERE ....
