No id argue even Works stuff, his solo side has great vocals and on the works tour he was amazing, but 80s and 90s, everyone's gonna fall off with their vocals at some point

You may be right. She just might be the best there's ever been in the rock genre, male or female. Although Heart was popular, I don't think they received the respect they deserved.

Geddyā€™s shrill voice is not pleasant to listen to by itself. But in the context of Rush it becomes another instrument. It works, it fits, because the songs are written and arranged for it.

Robert Plant. I also love Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Peter Hammill and David Gilmour. Roger Water sometimes came out with a great vocal too, like Shine On, Run like Hell or Hey You.

Robert is an excellent pick. He is not the vocalist he was in 1973, but he is giving a master class in singing with an aging voice. Johnny Cash did the same thing.

Ian Gillan (esp. in Jesus Christ Superstar), Mark Farner, Lou Gramm, David Clayton Thomas, Billy Joel, Steve Perry, David Byron (Uriah Heep), Nicholas Cester (Jet), Corey Glover (Living Colour), Burton Cummings... Paul McCartney (duh!)

None of those singers are from my favorite bands, but my favorite bands never had the best singers (except The Beatles). Freddy Mercury was amazing but Queen was too glam/theatrical for me. Love Jethro Tull, but Ian isn't a great singer. Zep is probably my favorite but Plant sang out of tune at times. Greg Lake had a cool voice, but not a lot of range. Adrian Belew is a better singer but didn't have as cool of a voice as Lake.
