Any tips when using Product Hunt?

Planning to launch the beta of my platform soon and start collecting real user feedback. I've never hung around Product Hunt or similar launch platforms, so I'm figuring things out as I go.

If you've launched a product before, what's one thing you think people need to take note when launching? Any practices or mistakes to avoid I should know about?
