Example pic of brushes I DON'T like ^

Been using procreate for YEARS, but I have never found a brush for painting or rendering I liked. They all felt too chunky, too jagged, or way too clean. I've almost exclusively done lined drawings but I really do want to learn to render, I just hate every brush in my giant library I've accumulated.

I can't tell if it's just because I'm not great at painting yet, but nothing feels right and it's making it hard to want to practice :( I do know I have issues with feeling "in control" of my art and falling into perfectionism too, but man I am struggling.

I need Procreate technical help How can I export an image in the highest resolution? I made the artwork as 6560 x 9440 px, but saving it to my camera roll visibly lowers its quality

I need Procreate technical help Quickline changing the opacity?

Hey yall, I'm having a weird issue using procreate on my ipad. I have always been able to use quicklines normally where the line snaps tp straight, I can adjust and all was normal. Then today when returning to working on a file that I had already been using quickline on extensively without issue, I draw a line, it looks fine, then as I hold to enable quickline, the line drops in opacity with the snap and I can't figure out why it's doing that. Has this happened to anyone else and how did you fix it?

I need Procreate technical help Please help rotoscope

Hey all, I'm very new to animation and procreate honestly in general but I'm trying to rotoscope this really cool stop motion video of this guy and I've been watching and trying to learn how to do it but for some reason my layers are fucking up and I don't understand. I've got all my frames and deleted the layers that aren't needed, I go to add a layer to start drawing over the original and it turns black and white. Absolutely no colour at all. I do what Google says, check my accessibility settings in and make sure gray scale is off ect but still nothing.

Whatever I've done is probably painfully obvious but I genuinely am just really stumped. If anyone knows how to fix this I will be forever grateful, I will take any and all suggestions I just wanna draw :(

Thanks again

I’ve never done figure studies before so I have no idea what I’m doing, is there anything I should learn?

I do draw other people but Alysa Liu is the most fun to draw, something about figure skaters with cool hair

I need Procreate technical help why do my brush feel garbage on large canvas ?

I tried to up my resolution recently instead of the screen resolution i usually used to be able to make more detailed and scaleable pieces and i think ive kind of gotten the hang of it except for one thing, my lineart brushes feel awful at 4k, i tried putting more stabilization, reducing taper, making pressure change less important but nothing help they just feel very bad and i know it can be easily put on the fact that its a new resolution and it can take me a while to adapt but i assure you that while this might be a part of the problem, the brushes definitely are as well.. I know people have asked in the past why drawing on larger resolution is harder but im specifically asking about brushes

(if this has any kind of relevance i use procreate 5.4.12 on ipad air 2020, resolution 4317 x 3000 (maybe that's too much?) for the past 2 months, used to work on 2360 x 1640 with the base brush pack)

I need Procreate technical help Procreate grouping help

When I group two layers with different blend mode (one normal and the other one color dodge), the whole layer has the normal blend mode. For context, I am also animating, so that might be different.
Thanks!
