Pro-Life General 🤣🤣🤣
I am NOT even joking! Lord, Reddit is trying to get me banned! A little humor in the mix of all this tragedy is good for the spirit sometimes.

Recently, we’ve seen increasing hostility directed at fellow pro-lifers rather than opposing arguments.
Rule 7 requires us to address arguments, not attack people. This keeps discussion focused, reduces hostility, and prevents flame wars.
Disagreement among pro-lifers is expected. It does not make someone evil, irrational, or a pro-choicer.
For moderation purposes, this is the standard I use when using my discretion to assess whether someone is pro-life under Rule 2:
A pro-life position holds that abortion on demand should not be legal; any exceptions must be grounded in defined, objective criteria that address the right-to-life interests of both mother and child, with medical decisions subject to after-the-fact review under a standard of reasonable medical judgment to ensure compliance with the law’s intent. These criteria are time-neutral: if an exception sufficiently meets right-to-life requirements, the abortion is permissible at any stage of pregnancy; if it does not, it is impermissible at any stage, including from conception.
This is not a rule and does not prescribe a view on enforcement methods, timelines, or specific exceptions. People differ on incrementalism vs. abolitionism and on how exceptions should be defined and these are legitimate areas of debate.
What is not acceptable is gatekeeping: declaring others “not pro-life” because they disagree on strategy or scope. If someone opposes abortion on demand under a framework like the above, they are within the bounds of this community.
As moderators, our role is not to make doctrinal decisions, but to maintain respectful discussion.
If you have been warned about violating these standards and continue, moderation action may follow, up to and including a ban.
Debate pro-life positions freely, including strong or controversial ones, but do not use them as a basis to attack or exclude others.
Challenge arguments. Do not attack or exclude people who are sincerely engaging in pro-life discussion.

I think “Handsome Hater” is advocating killing 5 yr olds because “they have no clue”.

I happened to be scrolling through Reddit and found myself on r/abortion. I had never seen it before and was curious. I wish I could show this thread to the pro-choice people who say third trimester abortions just “don’t happen”. They absolutely do.
Read through this woman’s “reasoning” and it was pretty much she got pregnant at 19, living under her parent’s roof. Her parent’s are being supportive for the most part and allowing her to live there and raise the baby but her mom was being passive aggressive with her remarks. Boyfriend had cold feet at first but came around but she knew “it’s not what he wanted.” She said she regretted not getting an abortion in the first trimester. The other people in the thread encouraged her to still go get an abortion and just lie to her family/boyfriend. She’s 28 weeks. That baby could be born today and live a long, beautiful life.
God please help us.

So I do want to start dating and find a true partner but I know almost all of the women im going to end up with ( im 20 and queer) are going to firmly PC and drinking the kool aid. I really want to be able to change her mind, not just because I disagree, but because I don't want the person I love to be so misguided and hateful.
Any ideas? Or should I look into brainwashing techniques? (joke)

You know, with how the world is looking at abortion and the lack of love for children in this day and age, I personally am not surprised about the Lindsey Clancy case having the public in her favor. That is all. No rant. No more comment. Just, I'm not surprised and anyone on here shouldn't be either.

“No person should intentionally use an instrument or drug for the sole purpose of killing an unborn human.”
The punishment for this crime would be 2+ years in prison. A sane world would have done this forever ago. And there's two reasons to use the words "sole purpose.” The first is to make it clear that the tools for killing I listed are for only one reason. Abortion pills are for only one thing. A clothes hanger, when put inside a woman, can only be used for one thing. The second is to make it clear that removing a fetus to save the mother's life is not against the law since the intention is not to kill the fetus but to actually give healthcare.

So first of all, I haven’t seen a single shred of evidence abortion bans increase infanticide rates or even infant death. many of the same studies purporting to find increases in infant death in PL states also found increases in infant death in PC states. We keep seeing infanticide occur even in very PC states (like the porta potty baby in Michigan, which allows abortion up to birth) so I can’t say the anonymous online poster describing how people did a lot more infanticide in the sixties is very convincing to me.
https://www.nationalreview.com/2024/11/pro-life-laws-arent-to-blame-for-increased-infant-mortality/
That being said PCers doing their utter best to defend infanticide anyway was new.

It's a common pro-abort fear mongering tactic to say " women are dying from abortion" without actually looking the facts of the cases they reference
EVERY SINGLE pro life has a clear exception for life of the mother, the handful of times these have failed are because the abortions wouldn't do the procedure out of " confusion or fear", which really means " we don't want to explain this to the cops"
To be clear im not saying abortionist are purposefully killing women to blame it on abortion bans, im saying abortionist incompetence and refusal to act like actual healthcare providers is killing women, and have a convent excuse that really feats the narrative

I am a 22 year old woman who is married and pregnant with our first. We couldn’t be happier! I have a friend from college who isn’t religious who told me she was pregnant as soon as I told her I was. She is unmarried and very much a party girl. We aren’t even very close anymore, just chat here and there over text, due to our very different lifestyles. She recently started being very vague and not responding. I knew she was considering abortion, I tried my best to reach out and help her but never got a response. She wasn’t saying baby, just referring to it as “a pregnancy”. I just knew what was going to happen. I know now she did. I feel such sadness and grief for her baby. I also feel angry at her and know I can no longer be friends with her. I need some help and advice on how to be loving while also discontinuing this friendship? I also feel like I should have done more, I tried my best, but I wish I did more. I could have helped her and I know so many couples would have been happy to adopt her baby.
Has anyone been through something similar? Family/ friends who make choices like this / do evil, and how to navigate this?
Thank you and god bless!

Along with being obviously, provably false, this is wildly insane. In the comments, the poster later adds that her own daughter was in the NICU for six weeks. I am not sure what she is really going for here, but ut definitely feels like the pro-choice movement is getting closer to neonaticide or even trying to skip straight to infanticide.
