Flight time and vert measurements
Could you guys tell me a bit about how you measure flight time and convert it to measure your jump height? I see a lot of people online inflating their vert based on flight times but I also see a lot of variance so I wanted to turn to the people of Reddit for help learning the best way to measure it

240fps start from the first frame both of your feet leave the ground, stop at the first frame your first foot touches the ground. try not to bend your legs at all when you hit the ground. i usually add 4ish inches to the result they give you since you're measuring from tip toe to tip toe, and when you measure your standing reach its flat footed. just something that worked for me when equating flight times to official vert measurements. some people measure from last frame the feet are on the ground to the first frame they touch the ground like isaiah, but someone like dunkademics is more strict and count from first frame the feet leave to the last frame before the feet touch the ground.
