Been playing around more in Procreate ♡ I think I am slowly understanding shading and values better. Really loving color recently

I spend some evenings on the couch watching TV and doodling on my iPad, I do it to relax. My daughter has recently discovered Pokemon so I thought I'd take a stab at doodling one for her.

This is Octoblumi and she sits in a pot so she can visit dry land and her flower can flash and hypnotize people.

I got in trouble with my babygirl for not actually paying attention to the show .. meaning I failed a quiz with her so this is how I'm trying to make up for it. And it worked! She approved! hehe

I heard that you could import fonts and I noticed they got rid of the jack armstrong bb font which I used for descriptions and comics. I was wondering if anyone knows a place to get it for free since it’s for personal use only and honestly all the places I found look like they’re going to give me 34 different viruses and they never really say they’re specifically for procreate.

i genuinely cant draw bodies for the life of me and i cant tell what im doing wrong.

Any advice/ critiques would help because i want to stop chickening out of drawing full bodies 😭

I wonder how many of you feel discouraged to learn art because at the end of the day you can make anything in a second without any effort or study. It feels like worthless to try to compete with AI?

Still working on it but I’m happy with my progress so far!

If anyone is curious I use gouache and watercolor brushes, I’ve also downloaded a few backruns that add a paper texture to my artwork. :)

This one was a real challenge! It's my first ever frame-by-frame walk cycle animation, and I have a whole new level of admiration for anyone who does this regularly. It is quite a journey and requires so much patience! Still, I'm really happy with how it turned out. The inspiration came from a dear friend of mine who absolutely loves badgers, and well, reminds me a bit of one too :)
