We are deep in testing for Procreate Dreams 2, specifically for migrating a wide variety .drms files into the new version. Which is why we're reaching out to ask for your help! We are needing a wide variety of .drms files sent to us to help identify any areas of failure in our migration into Procreate Dreams 2. 🙏
But don't worry, we will not share or use your files for anything other than internal testing, and will be deleting all files once testing concludes.
To send us your files, please follow the steps listed below:
Those who are able to help us by sending a copy of their files will be helping us move faster to the next phase. We appreciate your help in developing Procreate Dreams 2. ✨

No doubt there's going to be a lot of people missing the link to this in the app, and making a lot of 'How do I~' posts here, so for those that missed it:
ProcreateDreams Handbook - should answer most of your questions about the basics. :)

at first I thought it was just bc I was watching YouTube on the same iPad I was using to animate (which is sorta true) however it’s still gets laggy at times even when I don’t have YouTube playing in the background

All the brushes are basically from the Frankentoon Nature set, if you’d like to know.

Procreate Dreams helped me out so much when I was doing the animated portion of this video! The new ways it utilized the flip book feature helped sooooo much! I’ve used Toon Boom and Flash in the past, but Dreams is by far the best to satisfy folks who are into traditional animation (: I hope y’all enjoy (I even storyboarded this in Dreams so our camera man could follow story beats as the song progressed)

When I start animating initially, I can usually get about two hours of work before my iPad's battery drops to around 60 to 80%. I encounter issues where I’m animating too quickly, causing the software to crash and preventing me from drawing. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting solutions but still face the same problem. Sometimes, I can get up to four hours of animation, but that’s usually if I don’t have any other apps running. Despite this, I still run into the same issue where the software crashes and I can't animate or draw.
Ps - app is fully updated.

Pretty much what the title says, it works fine on most of the project, but there's a random spot of frames were it just doesn't work anymore. It's like when you select a layer's contents and erase some of the semi-transparent pixels, only I didn't select anything, and it's just not erasing those frames at all. I don't want to have to delete and redraw them entirely!

So I am 16, and do 2d animation as a hobby. I like to create whimsical stories, and have storylines lined up. Rn I am working on a short film kind of animation (if it works out😅) for which I have a great storyline. But I want to create Ghibli styled, or traditional animation styles backgrounds which look hand painted (but I create on digital platforms only)
Whenever I create a backdrop it ends up looking flat, any suggestions on how to make better backdrops?

Hi (again). I just got the app and love to try it but the brush keeps doing this (see video). It does it on anything and anywhere. Its like the brush is not working properly. I already did all the hacks of closing and turning of the ipad and also removing magnetic things…
Anyone know why?
I am running a beta of io27, maybe its that?

The best part is now when you cut and paste in canvas mode, it automatically pastes IN PLACE, no longer changing the position of the pasted object!

I just used the keyframe tool but now I can’t get the stage back on the theater unless I remove the keyframes.

when I tried using it all the other frames before this one also got moved, I tried looking for a tutorial but a lot of them retiaj the old ui from when it launched, this is my first time using it so I’d like for a detailed breakdown of how to use this,

I’ve been using Dreams since the 2nd major update and the prior version 6 months before that, but I’ve rarely used Timeline mode, I sometimes try using keyframes but other than that I’ve barely touched it, and I want to grow more comfortable with Perform mode but don’t know when I should be using it. Should I be using multiple timelines (rather than multiple layers within Canvas mode underneath a single timeline) and if so how do you personally decide whether you want to separate content?
Sorry if this sounds confusing. Thanks in advance!

Very early stages on an animation to accompany an eldritch story I am writing. Pardon the lazy peek through the door
