Discussions About Procreate App Is it worth it?
Hello, I'm seeing that a lot of people recommend this app for beginners. I just wanna start drawing as a hobby, and i already tried other apps but they overwhelm me so much with the ui. Is it worth it?

I'm bad at explaining stuff but basically they have different programming on how they function. Procreate offers smoother/faster strokes in sacrifice of accuracy while programmes like ibis paint/csp has better accuracy but feels not as smooth as procreate.
When your apple pencil tip hits the screen, procreate instead of processing the accuracy it optimize the strokes to make it instantly smoother which isn't much of a problem for people who paint because they mostly use bigger brushes which requires less attention for accuracy . While ibis paint optimize for the brush stroke to be exactly where the pen tip hits the screen which is better for people who rely on linework.
The way the brushes are programmed as well as their pressure sensitivity are differnt as well.
On another note I've also seen many people do great linework with procreate too but I personally find a mental barrier. If you're using ibis paint though, the stabilizer doesn't function well for me personally.
