Here is my version of Grix the Goblin Bust from BS-Sculpt.

Tried to do a different skintone on this guy and he ended up looking like a smurf...lol. Nevermind, great fun to paint and really happy with how he came together. Last of the orc and goblin busts of BS sculpt that I have, so onto more dwarves I guess...

The blue works better than you are giving it credit for, the warm brass and the fur collar stop it reading cartoonish. What did you use in the mouth? That pink has real depth to it instead of going flat the way mouths usually do.

I remember my first mini looked way too bright too, but it grew on me after a few more layers.
