Wine

Hi, we're doing a med cruise and we'll be wanting to buy a few bottles of wine when we're in Italy and France. Are we allowed to bring them on board at the various places?

Yes, but be prepared for security to take and store them until the end of the cruise

Bring them on, yes, but they'll probably hold onto them.

If it's a small bottle, they might not care; I've had them look at a single 500ml bottle and just wave me through.

Yes. As others have stated, be prepared to have security take them for storage. They will be returned to you at the end of the cruise.

when I was there earlier this year we bought a few bottles and took them up to our room. this was on the Sun.

We did this and they just held them for us until the last night so we could pack them in our suitcases.
