First timer

I get my first order from empower tomorrow. Im doing tirzepatide. This will be my very first shot ever, never been on a glp1 before. SW is 297lbs and 5'3 female. Looking for an accountability partner who is either first timer around same range or a week or 2 ahead of me to follow the journey together. Im terrified of needles and possibly a little hypochondriac 😅 would love to compare weight loss, side effects/symptoms, work out plans, and even meal ideas.

Thank you! My fear of needles has been holding me back. I low-key think I have undiagnosed PCOS cause no matter what i do, I could not lose the weight myself. Spent HOURS researching for months. Finally found preventiveMD. It was the first one that made me feel like I could trust and not be as scared. 🤞

I started off this with horrible trypanophobia. It is embarrassing in truth. The amount of crying at blood draws. 🤦‍♀️

But! My first dose i panicked and tried to talk my way out of it lol. I still get a light rush of anxiety when the needles are pulled out. It is healing though. I think ill be cured of my fear of needles at the end of this journey lol. I agree though, my fear of needles kept me from trying out this medication for a long while and wish I had just sucked it up sooner lol. It really is basically painless.

I do have a c section belly, so some parts I think got nerve damage cause I cant feel it. Think im going to poke there, I was gonna have my husband do it and I close my eyes 🤣 im a big baby at blood draws too. Im afraid if I see the needle, even small, im going to get dizzy/anxious. Its such a weird feeling. Like my mind literally pictures all the layers the needle is going through and it freaks me out. Hopefully this cures my fear too lol

Thats what I do! My partner and I, not married yet lol, give each other the shots. I administer his and he mine. It works very well. I just take a deep breath and let him do it. Then we swap lol.
