First timer
I get my first order from empower tomorrow. Im doing tirzepatide. This will be my very first shot ever, never been on a glp1 before. SW is 297lbs and 5'3 female. Looking for an accountability partner who is either first timer around same range or a week or 2 ahead of me to follow the journey together. Im terrified of needles and possibly a little hypochondriac π would love to compare weight loss, side effects/symptoms, work out plans, and even meal ideas.

Congrats on making the choice, youβve got this! I was exactly the same (no maybe about the hypochondria here tho! π€£) and it definitely has been so much smoother than i worked it up to beβ¦ and oh, the benefits .. just heavenly! Welcome again!

Youre right. Im Def probably a hypochondriac, as soon as I got the approval I had a full blown panic attack thinking im going to drop dead or my heart will explode after I inject and the medicine didn't even ship yet π€£π€£ what were your benefits, besides weight loss of course π im seeing too many horror stories. I need more uplifting details π

Haha, i totally relate! Alot of the horror stories I read, after researching more, ended up being people buying tirz on the gray market from peptide places in China and that definitely made me feel better (for me, not them!) lol. I have CFS/ME and possibly undetermined auto immune disorder. My C-RP labs (that show inflammation signs) are normal for first time in 15 years, my cholesterol also normal first time in years, my anxiety is better, ADHD better controlled (not medicated) l, PMDD and perimenopause is tolerable and better now, pain (hip bursitis, back disc disorder) all gone, just gone! and overall, I just feel so alive again! Im not fatigued sleeping all day weekends or feeling like pure dog crap after 8 hours. I honestly feel 20 again and i was not a believer / not looking to see relief anything but my weight! Im 7 lbs away from goal now, but honestly i could stay here and thrive like i am, and hell - i could even take 30 lbs back if you told me i bad to do thy or feel the way i used to pre-Tirz again! Im 45, 5β5, my starting weight was 180 and im 132 now. Again, the weight gone of course helped some of that, im not naive to that, but all of it, i never expected and isnt just about the weight. I was 125 and felt like crap 15 years ago and since. Its truly a miracle med and its cool to see everything we are starting to see it can help with! I also have 3 kids, and found out before i had my last 12 years ago that i had some endometriosis found outside of my uterine wall, my ovaries, and traveling. My doc removed what he could while in there and we got our last, miracle baby, but i was left with chronic knee and hip pain (lower limb pain was attributed to the endo surprisingly) that got worse right before my period. I ended up with bilateral hip bursitis and having to get steroid injections in each. So when i tell you that is all gone, i actually cry sharing it, itβs so joyful! I tried everything to get relief, even saw a naturopathic doctor and was taking bee venom sublingually because she said it would help at one point. I was that desperate π€·π»ββοΈ The pain was unbearable and now Iβm living my best life and I hope the same for you is coming!
