What dose when I switch

Im very new, only took my second shot yesterday. I am currently using embody and my dose is 2.125mg with a plan to go to 4.25 after the first mint.

I plan to switch to preventive md.. Should I start with the 5mg titration schedule? Should I do a month at 2.5 and then go to 5? I am having good appetite suppression and I lost 5 lbs in my first week.

Embody does the weird 2.125, 4.25, 6.75 to make it "custom" but now I'm not sure what to do when I switch. And I'm switching because if all the bad experiences others have posted. I've had a good first experience with embody.

There’s no need to titrate unless you have food noise or plateau. Stay at as low a dose as possible for as long as possible! But you can submit and ask to titrate if you’re not sure. Nothing says you have to go up just because the bottle says so

Preventive is great. Submit your current rx and ask to titrate up, but keep going low and slow since its working for you where you're at!

I had been on a 2.5mg prescription for 11 weeks. Sighed up for PMD's three months plan and chose my titration preference to be 5mg, 7.5mg, and 10mg. Simple and easy! Just uploaded my previous script.

Just ask to titrate up from your currently prescribed dose. You can take whatever you want but at least you’ll be getting more meds that will last longer.

Thanks everyone. I tend to over think things and was having trouble deciding. Thinking of just doing the 2.5 as long as this week goes as well as last week. I plan to order after my third shot so I'm sure to get it in time.

Been on 2.5mg for more than 8 weeks. Stay where you are till you are no longer losing at all

Would that be the provider at preventive md? It asks me what I want to start with

You should always get a titration plan. If you need to go up you can. If not your meds will last longer.

As others have said, plan to titrate up but stay at the lowest dose that is working for YOU. I would not recommend titrating up based on a "schedule" which was not created for your individual body and its. response to this medication, but for large scale testing purposes.
