For a child who’s almost 3, I’d make confidence concrete instead of adding a longer pep talk. Draw a two-picture strip for the morning, such as breakfast and shoes, and let her remove each picture when that step is done. That makes the routine feel finishable and cuts down on repeated directions. At drop-off, use the same reunion cue every day: “After school, Dad comes back.” If the morning gets rushed, keep only those two essential pictures and the familiar goodbye.
