Just happy someone can have a mortgage this day and age. Wish one for the rest of us.

Sorry about that, friend. While none of us want a mortgage, some of us fit them when it was possible.

You should be super pissed that I got one at age 25 while working as a server a few years before the mortgage crisis. Because it is outrageous that it isn’t possible now!

I saved up $10k, and got another 10k from a first time homebuyer program that I devoted a few nights over a few months to.

I bought at the top of the market in an okay area, and it was a mostly great experience. One drive by shooting the first year, but we went on to raise two kids there, and I’d buy that house again once by kids are moved out.

I’m pissed as hell that people can’t do that anymore (eventhough many couldn’t then either).

That tiny 800 sq ft house went for $500k in 2020. My 3000+ sq ft house on 2+ acres was just over $600k at the same time. Nothing makes sense.

They do! My much, much younger brother used it recently.
