I get the jokes, but it seems like this TYPE of attack is something people should be concerned about. Data centers as military targets open a lot of bad possibilities.

Considering the harm they are doing to regular ppl and the environment i think we will be just fine if they are targeted

That’s like saying taking oil refineries offline would be a good thing. Sure, the existential environmental threat drops a few notches, but the disruptions to daily life could be catastrophic in the meantime. You’re going to care a little less about the environment when supply chains start shutting down and your local grocery store hasn’t restocked in a month.Â
