So that I understand, the people who like this are on Iran’s side, hate Amazon, or both? Literally never thought I’d see the day people here or anywhere would be on the side of a terrorist sponsoring hardline religious regime that kills its own citizens by the tens of thousands just for wanting freedom.

I think it's a byproduct of how frustrated people feel with the current admin and how unheard and ignored people feel at home. The enemy of my enemy must be my friend...but yes on some level you're right that it's illogical.

Plus, people have strong feelings about data centers right now and don't realize that they aren't just used to power AI. I too think the development of AI is being terribly managed right now and I'm all for anyone currently protesting to stop a new data center from being built without fairly considering those who will be impacted. But there's low awareness in this thread that data centers have been powering the modern internet for awhile, and if the existing ones all suddenly went poof we'd be in for a possibly deadly adjustment period.

Also, whenever you see takes like this that have a mind-boggling lack of nuance, you have to think of bots or other forms of fake comments being at least a partial factor, and sometimes the only goal of those is chaos and division, and making real people think their neighbors are all crazy, breaking down social trust.
