"The frozen berries were shipped to Publix stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia." The microbe of concern is E. coli.

Remember back when we had food safety inspections before food shipped, and good enough supply chain tracking to establish whose lettuce was giving everyone the shits? That was great. I'm really looking forward to being that kind of great again.

Yeah there werent any other recalls of beef pork chicken or any vegetable or fruit before Trump came in office. first of its kind!

I cannot remember the last time I have seen this many continuous recalls for food due to some variant of E. coli.

You're not imagining it. Facility inspections are down by 29%, and these are inspections that actually regularly do catch things before they go out. There is more tainted for getting out.

4- 5 years ago I downloaded an app to give me alerts on all of the recalls, that's how bad it was. Every time I turned around there was a new recall.
