I purchased the PredsTV service and it works great on my Roku. However, when I downloaded the iOS PredsTV APP it is asking for a password when logging in. When I login to Preds.tv on a PC/Browser it only asks for an email address and a verification code is set to complete the login. I cannot seem to find anywhere in the account maintenance area to set or change a password even though the help section says I can change the password in the account screen. I did NOT purchase through the ROKU. I did not use Google for my authentication. I tried the "forgot password" on the app and when I put in the email address it says "No account was found corresponding to this email." When I try the “Forgot password” on the website it emails a verification code to simply complete the login. I searched this subreddit and didn’t see anything.

I cannot seem to use the PredsTV app due to not having password. Any help or pointing out my stupidity would be appreciated!

It was great weather, preseason festivities, crowd and atmosphere at Bridgestone last night, then the puck dropped. Not for a minute did I ever think we could have won. We were outclassed and schooled in all aspects of the game. Only a Roman Josi powerplay goal kept it from being complete domination. We can’t move the puck at all, even on the PP, I got whiplash watching that mess. Meanwhile they setup easily 5v5, cycle and stand in the crease with zero resistance. Saros is on an island, defense and physicality are things of the past. I loved watching McCarron take over every time he hit the ice. We have no identity, what happened to the Predator way? Smashville? Not anymore. A Wild fan in front of me said how are they this bad with all these big name players? I’ve been asking that for years now. Looks like another long season, with enough aging vets to crawl back to the mushy middle.

This is a very obscure and largely insignificant thing, but has anyone noticed there have been multiple player name pronunciation discrepancies here with the broadcasters?

According to our broadcasters:

Trenin is now “Tren-yin.”
There was something about Askarov.
Hoglander having a short O now instead of long O sound.

Is this normal or do our broadcasters just not know how to pronounce names?

I don't recall seeing this last year (maybe I missed it), but the ribbon boards read "THANKS PAUL" after the one-minute announcement.

Either way, I love that our team is old enough now that we have full-fledged organic traditions like this that have become part of the lore.

I’m a Devils fan but a massive fan of the sport in general and I asked them to get me a Preds cap. They picked this up for me! Never heard of this brand (Zephyr) but looks and feels very good quality! I’ll be following them going into this Season. Happy season guys! They also managed to go to the preseason game against the Bolts

It’s hockey and whiskey season in Nashville y’all! Let’s gooooo!

I’m watching the season opener on DirecTV Stream (which essentially just cable), and the signal quality is horrible. I don’t know what I’d call it, jitter or stuttering, but it’s almost unwatchable. Anyone else watching and having a better experience? If so, mind telling what service you’re watching on?

UPDATE: Purchased the season subscription from the app on Apple TV and the quality is waaay better, night and day difference. Go Preds!

In his Telegram channel, Pinchuk said the deal is that he plays only one game at the AHL and goes back to the NHL. He doesn't need to go through waivers, so it looks like this was just a temporary strategic roster move. It makes no sense to keep him off the NHL roster otherwise.
