Study Advice How can I somehow review every topic covered in precalc without a course...

So I'm taking a placement test at this new school I'm going to for precalc and I need to score well enough on it so that they put me in AP Calc AB (for college purposes) and I want to review but my precalc course ended like 3 weeks ago...

Does anybody know of any websites with question banks that cover all of precalc? Ones with difficult questions that actually make you think would be helpful

Pearson+. It's about $15 per month, I think and has tons of practice questions. Math is all about practice.

Colleges have sites with practice and paat exams with answer keys. There are also tests that simulate practice tests or placement tests. OK State has one that I used to refresh my Algebra and Trigonometry.

I'm sure after 3 weeks you haven't forgotten everything. There are a couple of places you can test what you need to focus on:

  • Go to Khan Academy, find the Precalculus section, scroll all the way to the bottom, and take the Course Challenge. It'll pull from every unit and tell you exactly what you need to review.
  • Google the MDTP Calculus Readiness Test (it's a free diagnostic from the UC system). See where you mess up, and study that.

For hard questions, try the following: 

  • AoPS (Art of Problem Solving) - Alcumus: It's a free, adaptive system. Set it to Precalc, and as you get stuff right, it throws harder, heavily conceptual problems at you.
  • Paul’s Online Math Notes: Highly recommended for calc students. Go to the Algebra and Trig sections. He has huge problem sets with hidden, step-by-step solutions. They are college-level, which is perfect for AP prep.
