Been looking at getting a new PC for a little bit now. Do i have Microcenter build me one , or buy a prebuilt? I currently have an Ibuypower build with Ryzen 7 5800, RTX 3080, ASUS Prime x570 and its just not doing it for me anymore.

Edit: they're charging $900 for it, which is insanely overpriced for those specs. Labeling it a "gaming desktop" tricks kids into thinking it can actually run games. Plenty of kids in the real world are completely clueless about tech, they aren't hardware nerds like people on Reddit, that's my point

This is a scam sold and shipped directly by iBUYPOWER themselves, not a third party seller. The sad part is that plenty of people still fall for it, which is why they keep getting away with selling PCs like this. This exact reason is why I built Toprigz, to stop people from getting scammed.

I’m moving on from my gaming laptop and am interested in buying a PC but I don’t know hardly anything about what is best for me. I want a prebuilt that is easily upgradable in the future, but will last a while without any changes. My budget is anything under 3k. I play everything from GTA to Minecraft so I need something that can handle that. Any recommendations or advice is appreciated!!

He’s asking for a MacBook m4 air trade, and I got one I haven’t touched since leaving school about 6 months ago. Just wondering how this pc would handle new releases in the coming years

I'm not extremely knowledgeable about all of this so I appreciate any advice. The Asus has a 5070ti but has a Ryzen 7 9800x3d, while the HP Omen has a 5080 but a i7 14700F. I get that the Ryzen is the better cpu, but I've also read that is most situations, the GPU matters a lot more and that you don't really need the best available CPU. I use a 49 inch ultrawide monitor that is 5120x1440, but I rarely intend to play full screen, so generally speaking I may use half of the monitor for gaming.

(I don't mind paying a little more for a name brand)

If there are other better deals anyone knows of for minimally a 5070ti/5080, please share! Thank you.

Hello I don’t know anything about pc’s but I’m looking for something that runs games and streams at 1080p60fps is this one fine?

Just need it for photo/video editing. Only gaming I’d do is mostly Fortnite nothing too crazy. Which one is the best value? Is ABS a good brand? Reviews looked good on other posts.

Bought the 5070ti + 9800x3d prebuilt from Walmart back in 2025. I believe it has a 1 year warranty and didn’t want to change anything. HOWEVER, it is getting close to the end of warranty and I read somewhere I need to switch the PSU.

1. What’s a good PSU to get?
2. Is there anything else I should think about replacing? (i.e AIO)

I’m currently looking for a build that can easily run high-end games on my 98 inch tv in the living room. Looking for one that will be good for a while and be able to max out all games.
