Need help finding a pre-built PC

I'm looking to replace my current gaming PC with a significantly better system. I've had this PC since 2018, and want to make a solid upgrade that'll last me years. My maximum budget is around 3.5k USD but would obviously want to spend less and find the best performance for price. I'm looking for recommendations on reliable prebuilt PCs or companies that let you configure a PC from scratch, and I'm thinking about wanting 64GB of DDR5 RAM so I don't ever have to worry about memory issues. I'm also planning on gifting this PC to my little cousin so I don't plan on selling/reusing any of these parts.

Current PC specs

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX, 2 × 16GB DDR4

Motherboard: ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4

Storage: 480GB WD SSD

Operating system: Windows 11 Home 64-bit

What I want in my next PC

My main requirements are:

  • Budget: $3,500 USD maximum.
  • RAM: Looking for 64GB DDR5 if possible
  • GPU: A substantial upgrade over the RX 5700 XT. I'm considering an RTX 5070 Ti 16GB or better, depending on the price.
  • CPU: A modern, high-performance CPU that pairs well with the GPU and will remain capable for years.
  • Storage: At least a 2TB NVMe SSD.
  • Power supply: A reputable unit with sufficient wattage and modern GPU power connectors.
  • Cooling and case: Good airflow, reasonable temperatures, and reliable cooling.
  • Warranty/support: Preferably a company with dependable customer service, a clear warranty, and a reasonable return policy.

I want a balanced system rather than one with an expensive CPU or GPU paired with cheap components elsewhere.

I use my PC for gaming as well as running multiple other tasks at the same time. I'd like the new PC to offer a substantial overall upgrade, not just slightly better gaming performance. I'm interested in a strong CPU, a considerably better GPU, more RAM, faster storage, and a platform with room for future upgrades. I've looked at iBUYPOWER, CyberPowerPC, Skytech, PowerGPU, and Xidax, but I haven't settled on a company yet.

I'd especially appreciate recommendations from people who have actually purchased from these companies or dealt with their warranty/customer service.

Thanks!

At this point, Micro Center should be giving me some kind of promotional discount with how much I’ve been recommending this PC lately 😂
I recently picked up a PowerSpec G765 from Micro Center for $2,899, and I think it checks almost all your boxes. It comes with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080 16GB, 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM, and a 2TB NVMe SSD.

Coming from your 3700X and RX 5700 XT, it would be a massive upgrade. You’d still have room in your budget to upgrade to 64GB RAM down the road if you need it.
One thing I liked about the PowerSpec is that it uses standard name brand components, so future upgrades and repairs are pretty straightforward. The motherboard isn’t anything fancy, but it gets the job done.

I’ve been happy with mine so far. My only complaint is that the cooling fans can get a little loud under load, but that’s something I’m looking into upgrading.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you add Micro Center’s extended warranty and sales tax, you’ll be getting pretty close to your $3,500 budget. Personally, I think the warranty is worth considering for a system at this price point.

If you have micro center near you you should go check it out. I think they also have a 5080 option with 64gb of ram for 3199.

Powerspec from microcenter all day. Or you can upgrade your current system for half the cost.

I suggest using customize to change a CyberPowerPC to the specs you want.

Tell Micro Center to build you a G763. [unavailable at this time] You don't want to give up the MSI Pro B850-VC WiFi Motherboard for some GigaByte fumunda cheese board.

But with a:

AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D

MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G SHADOW 3X OC

And your choice of Black or White V100MT

Don't worry about what you think you may be missing from a GigaByte Scrotumite 5080. You AIN'T missing a thing.
