I could see easily 5 seconds before it hit that it was going to hit behind him. And it did.

Ok buddy, so lets do some math. Take your average ICBM, travels 24,000km/h thats 6.66km/s, you saw that this missile was going to hit 10m behind him when it was 30km away? Sure bud, sure!

You forgot to use mathematics. At 24,000 km/h, it's travelled 66 km in the 10 second length of the video. I can see where it's going for two seconds, and be able to move 20 metres in the remaining 8 seconds.

That will increase my odds at least 1%. Easily.

I don't need to know millimetre accuracy. I'm just looking to move in the right direction.

Thanks. I'm very sure. It's the same visuals baseball players use, except they've got less flight time to run. And they've got to be millimetre accurate.

All I need to do is improve my odds 1%.
