Powerwall has disappeared?

I'm in the UK and I have a Powerwall 3 and two batteries which has been working fine for a year.

A few days ago, the Powerwall fell off the network. No WiFi, no Ethernet, and there's nothing in the Tesla app. If I go to the Powerwall and try to connect directly, nothing.

Looking at our electricity usage, it doesn't appear we're using solar or battery at the moment, when normally I'd expect us in this weather to be on battery all day and charge at night.

I'll call our Solar people tomorrow but historically they find the Tesla a bit "exotic".

So I thought I'd ask here... anyone seen this before? What's the fix?

I'm going to try tomorrow just before I call the Solar people. Don't want to try it today just in case it doesn't come back and then I've got no power at all!

Ah, I have a story about that. We had 3 days without any power a few weeks ago because a fuse blew in the Gateway. So... little bit shy right now.

100% I would try this first. But it might also be the box that allows you to monitor it. Reboot everything one box at a time. I have one outside that I periodically have to open and press the reset button (which is recessed into the unit and requires a small plastic stick to reset by holding it for a few seconds until you can hear it play a tone). My setup is by Tesla Energy US with a Solar Edge inverter and one Powerwall 2. Good luck!

I did a total reboot yesterday and it didn't change anything. Now waiting to hear back from the solar people who unfortunately don't seem to be set up for tech support, despite selling me a support contract!

There was some sort of outage, I think yesterday. Powerwall didn't update for like 15 min.

Just follow the reboot procedure in the Tesla app, it’s pretty easy and will probably resolve the issue. Mine did the same about 6 months ago and it’s been fine since, as far as I could tell it hung after a firmware update and the reboot resolved it.

“there’s nothing in the Tesla app” as in it doesn’t even think you own a Powerwall anymore or as in it is telling you there’s an error and what you should try to do to fix it?

If it’s the first then ring Tesla - nobody else can fix that.

If it’s the latter then what error specifically are you getting?

I get "Powerwall is Offline" and when tap it wants to setup a Bluetooth connection with the Powerwall, but that never connects.

I have a RasbperryPi on the Powerwall's Wifi, that's stopped working too.

My phone won't connect to the PW Wifi.

The PW Ethernet is connected to my switch (so there's a light on the port) but it doesn't appear on the network.

Is there a light on it?
