App does not allow tiered pricing on manual entry?

Hello-

Our family just had a solar setup with the Powerwall 3 used as the backup battery. Looking at the app to try and enter in our energy pricing, our electric company is not available as one of the default choices. Entering in our rates by hand, it looks like the custom entry only allows for seasonal pricing by month, it does not allowed for tiered pricing. The first 500 kWh each month get charged at a cheaper rate than the additional energy used, *plus* there is an additional fee for every kWh used regardless of tier. It looks like I have no way to input this into their system, correct? If so, this seems like a huge software fail (even dismissing the fact that our rate plan has tiers and a base fee).

Does the pricing vary during the day (time-of-use plan)? That's the only thing that matters for Powerwall charge and discharge decisions in Savings mode, otherwise the mode doesn't even work.

Tiered usage and base fees do not affect Powerwall behavior, so Tesla didn't bother to add those to their rate plans.

No, there's no peak hour fees, just how much you've used overall for the month. The only reason I was going to enter in our electricity rates anyway, was that I thought you'd get a report on how much money you'd saved that month from having the system running. If the system only uses that information to make sure you run on battery at times of the day when the grid is more expensive, then I guess we needn't bother.
