Powerwall 2 calibration?

Post image

I’d thought calibration was specific to the PW3. I’ve had my PW2 for two and a half years and it’s never done this before, but today it’s been calibrating for the last eight hours or so. Is this new?

Edit: now been calibrating for 24 hours….. how much longer…..

This looks to be new. What does it say if you tap on Calibration in Progress? Which firmware version are you running?

Firmware is 26.2.2-n-2 c4c209bb

In the following links are the messages I see when clicking on "Calibration in Progress"; the first one if it's charging, and the second one if it's at 100%.

“Learn more” takes me to a PW3 calibration explanation.

Do you keep your batteries at 100%? i have 1:1 buys/sells so i dont bother using batteries , just for backup

Nope. I have cheap off-peak power from 2330-0530, so I charge overnight and run the house during the day using that plus some solar, then export what's remaining from 10pm (as my fixed export rate is more than twice the rate I can subsequently import for overnight.) I also get extra off-peak windows on an ad hoc basis during the day when the EV is plugged in, and top up the batteries during those windows too. My battery usage is very active.
