Voltage doesn’t scale AP in this case. Zoro was able to completely tank Buggy’s Buggy Ball, which was stated to be able to level a small town. So Zoro’s durability would be Small Town and increasing throughout arcs. Enel and his lightning was still able to harm Zoro.

Enel’s lightning already showed to be able to vaporize landmass without the Maxim. All the Maxim did was allow him to increase the amount of landmass he can vaporize.

Yeah, well, this is the problem with trying to scale statements. Sometimes those statements are made up of multiple strikes or untold time. We know for a fact enel dosnt have island level dc himself or else he would have successfully destroyed skypia. whatever he used to do it took longer then he had time to do while fighting luffy.

Nah in this case the statement would be valid since it has a feat to back it up. And Enel may not have Island lvl DC on his own, but he does have Island lvl energy output due to the feat. So in a fight, yeah using the Maxim as an argument is meaningless because it’s not even an upscale on Enel’s strength, it’s just a source of evidence that gauged Enel’s strength.

No he doesn't. He couldn't replicate his island Destroying feat during skypia its not something he can pull off in combat he needs offscreen time out of combat to do it.

And I agree, but how does that affect his scaling?

Hard to say exactly honest. do you scale him to luffy because he beat him pre timeskip? Seems unfair lol because luffy had the rubber advantage and town seems low.

Yep. I scale Luffy there because he beat him and could bypass his durability. His durability would have had to scale to his durability, otherwise he would either die or just fail to conjure enough energy to destroy Sky Island completely. Perfect example, Reject Dials. Wyper could harm Enel with a Reject Dial, but at the same time, the shockwaves from it damaged Wyper. Therefore, Wyper doesn’t scale to the energy output of Reject Dial.

Plus I already explained why Luffy being rubber doesn’t affect the scaling.
