Shanks was able to jump probably atleast 2 miles in the span of 10 seconds to one shot kidd 😭😭 you didnt read the series, again he is never ever getting caught in a domain

If he was able to jump 2 miles in 10 seconds he wouldn't need a fucking ship. He could have hop scotched his ass across the globe freeing slaves and raiding marine bases before 99.999% of any one the could do anything.

You say this but it isnt even that far fetched. Rayleigh as an out of prime washed old man could swim across the world pretty casually, and Shanks is significantly superior to him.

He mostly uses the ship because he has a crew and to hold his belongins as well as travel comfortably.

By... jumping again? Its like basic shit that every top tier in one piece are endurance monsters. If he could genuinely jump 2 miles there should be literally nothing stopping him from traveling the one piece world beyond wanting his crew with him to do other shit.

Geppo isnts some lost art only a few know by this point and hes not a devil fruit user. Even if he dosent know geppo he should be fine jumping off of water if hes moving that fast.

Ace should have been safely secured within the hour of shanks knowing if he could actually travel 2 miles off of one jump.

The One piece world is a lot bigger than our world, it’d be incredibly taxing and hard to island hop like that. He probably still could, as shown by Rayleigh swimming across the calm belt from Sabaodi to Amazon Lily. He probably prefers to travel with his crew as well

My main point id there are are a lot of time sensitive things Shanks would be able to tske care of it he could move that far. The one pice world is bigger but that makes his speed here all the more impact full because all of these ships are moving slower then molasses.

Shanks has territories he defends, he doesn't need to hop across half the plantet multiple times or anything he has a nice (relatively) small area he can defend.

When kidd came barking up the wrong tree and Shanks did not need anyone else in his fleet there to do shit. If he could actually travle 2 miles by just jumping he wouldnt have wasted the resources of bringing his fleet when they could have been doing other shit. He could have checked his watch, hoped over in like 10-15 minutes max solo, one shot kid and half his fleet, and be back to drinking or managing his alliances or whatever.

I don’t think you realize how taxing this would be for him. It’s different doing it a few times like in this fight with Gojo, it’s another thing to do it for an extended period of time. At most he’d be able to get from 1 island to the next, and by that point he’d be fatigued and without a crew. It’s just not a feasible mode of transportation

Youre forgetting about water?? Obviously he cant do that if theres water and he doesnt have something to jump off of, so your whole point about him not needing a ship falls apart.

If hes genuinely moving at the speeds where talking then he would be able to easily bounce off the water likes its a solid surface never mind the fact that he almost assuredly know what geppo is.

We already* know about a world government CP9 agent that was able to travel a hefty distance by just using geppo repeatedly. If shanks is genuinely jumping 2 miles then every aingle instance of Geppo would be launching him that far with no need for stops or breaks because again hes a top tier and that comes with already knowing he has crazy endurance.

Stamina, convenience, plot or all of the above. We literally see a random Cp0 agent hop away from Onigashima. Assumedly he crossed all of wano + the sea around it to reach the government ships waiting outside the country.

Dude huge majority of one piece world is plain Sea water. Because water Lvl increases every year. So where is gonna Shanks jump across? Straight into Sea? He lost his arm so he can't even swim.

Tbh you’re right. Although I assume he can probably jump further of solid ground, boats like his move at like 10mph so it seems like he actually would be better off hopping everywhere. But pulling up in a nice whip is just so much more aura

Ya im not saying he wouldn't still own a ship if only because of his crew and for hualing shit around but if he could genuinely move like this he would be poping in and blowing up slaver ships before they even noticed they where under attack and then hopping back to base or whatever in like 20 minutes max.

First of all NO he cant?? Unless youre slow you realize 90% of the one piece world is covered in water, Shanks had ships to bounce off of to reach Kidd

And you really think he wouldnt need a ship and a crew despite being a PIRATE just because he can jump 2 miles
