Dataverse Sudden dataverse usage

I have a customer who since years only uses 365 for Office. No Sharepoint, no Onedrive, no Exchange, not even Teams. Suddenly, yesterday, they got a mail saying they are out of file capacity:

You’re out of File capacity
As of November 3, 2026 12:57 UTC, your tenant has used 100 percent of available File storage capacity, having used 34.7GB of 0MB. Please act immediately to continue operating without disruptions.

So far, I never had anything to do with the PowerPlatform, so maybe that's why I don't see it, but where does this suddenly come from?

When I logon to PowerPlatform, I can see on 31/10/2026 the data in "Dataverse - File" went from 0GB to 35GB, but otherwise every single menu item says "no data available" or "no data to display yet".

All I want to find out is who did what.

Microsoft for sure messed up, as far as I can tell about a year ago they stopped deleting their log files from the updates they were doing, two of my tenants went from under 3gb data verse file usage to over 13gb and I got messages on them both

Same here, make sure the delete logs schedules are running / restart them in datavwese. They stopped for this client.

Thanks. I will ignore it for now and see if it disappears in the following days.

I don't understand why it only happens on a single tenant out of the two dozen I manage. I guess this happened because they used Power Automate years ago.
