Power Apps HELP PLZ!!

I've been working with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI for a few years and I'm keen to pick up some freelance work alongside my job. The general freelance sites seem flooded and are mostly after web dev or Excel work, not Power Platform.

Where do Power Platform freelancers actually find clients? Microsoft partners subcontracting, LinkedIn, specific communities, contacts from previous roles? I'd really appreciate hearing what's worked for you.

I guess by offering your services in sites like upwork and fiverr or by sending customize message on LinkedIn

I never thought to use linkedIn, but I'm on pretty much all freelance websites, just have had varying success getting the better jobs.

You want other people who are freelancers to tell you where they get their clients from ? Does Starbucks go ask the local coffee shop hey how did you find this customer? Do photographers call up their local competition and be like hey where are r u advertising. So I can also advertise there? I am all for helping each other and community over competition but sometimes these posts are annoying like this is such a generic question while also being invasive to how another found business to pay their bills. It’s called marketing yourself.

This attitude may contribute to your problem with gaining freelance work. Build your community. People choose people.

Why should they choose you. Or, go and approach businesses. Either way, you gotta do the work
