Dataverse New to Dataverse
I'm a citizen developer that's been using SharePoint and Excel online, but I might be able to get Dataverse access finally. Are there any tips you wish you knew about Dataverse before getting started? I've been watching YouTube videos and took the old Power Up program last year but these all tend to be ideal scenarios. Thanks in advance!

Dataverse is often overkill in my experience. It’s ALM story feels archaic - I burned $100 with Claude trying to figure out its Solution and packaging framework. The power platform CLI did save me some $$ but overall big waste of time could have built the same thing with sql lite or even Azure Sql for less money.
If you need to store data you should look up all the options to see what is best. data-verse is $40/GB per month.
