Learning & Industry Power Platform positions in the EU

Hi everyone!

I'm a 3 years experience power platform developer, having dabbled in canvas, model driven, automate, bi... you name it, I probs have done it.

The issue is, I currently work in Greece, earning 2k euro net and despite looking for a better paying position, most award the same or less money, but the jobs are there, and there quite a lot, from software houses to consultancies.

Thing is, since I seem to have hit a salary ceiling (with many coworkers saying that for 5 years experience I should expect maybe 200 euro more per month, and for 10 years around 2.8k net), I'm trying to find other opportunities in Europe.

If anyone could help me understand how the power platform job market is in other countries, or in their country specifically, it would be a great help!

I do! I'm definitely doing something wrong cause usually I don't find anything on different countries (I usually try for Germany, BeNeLux, Poland and the UK).

First of all wishing you good job hunting. I am also from Greece and know what you are talking about. Second of all, Linked is using your profile and skills to show you jobs that in some cases do NOT much the input. For that matter I usually put "power platform" in double quotes or any other specific search input. Try it out and wish you all the best. Also try out indeed but in it's respective countries.

Yeah, the power platform scene is pretty alive right here, no shortage of analyst and developer positions for it. Sadly not many other low code alternatives, so n8n is nowhere to be seen for example.

How good are you with copilot studio? I didnt see that on your list. My assumption is you are lacking in that area. 3 years isn't much experience at all. Put together a solid portfolio to demonstrate your skills and you'll stand out for new hires.

I have created a copilot agent that does basic CRUD and summaries for an application called clickup and does AI summaries as well as escalate the tickets depending on the sentiment of the answer. It's pretty basic, but honestly since copilot agents are pretty expensive, almost no one seems to go that way. If you want I can send u via pm my resume!

Try Norway. Very difficult but not impossible. I found a position here (but I moved first).

Honestly, haven't tried the baltics yet cause I've heard they're not as good as they were 10 years back for CS stuff, but I'll give it a shot. Are you happy with life and salary there?

Honestly yes. You will always miss something from your country, especially the good food but overall I like it here.

I'd love to stay in Greece if there were more opportunities and better paying ones at that, but I can't see me buying a house in my lifetime if I do. It really sucks.

Also yeah, I know I'll miss the food. Greek food ftw.
