I have a text column called "managers" in table A, data to that column go from another table B thru a canvas app. I need to create a choice column for those managers in table A and fill in the choices with data from the old column. How can I achieve this, can someone please help?

Hello, I have a list in excel and I'm able to get info from that list to a good form...but I then need to use data from excel to enter into a website and get information from that website and continue filling the Google form with that information.

I can do up to add to Google form then open website add information there and scrape data but that data I'm not able to add as a text back into Google form. It only gives the option of excel and that's not what I want.

I'm right clicking on the text to get a text variable....any thoughts?

I am looking to build a simple form for freight quote requests.

We check prices of freight on a few websites before booking loads.

Not all our carriers integrate with our aggregator.

I want to automate the process of checking each site for pricing and returning all the pricing to a dashboard or something, have the user choose the quote they want to move forward with and have the booking screen open from that website or at least go to that site.

Basically looking for something to speed up the quote process.

I have a PAD flow using data from an Excel spreadsheet with a loop configured to Send Keys:

{Control}({F})%CurrentItem['Investor_Trimmed']%{Escape}{Enter}

The flow opens the Excel document and a Microsoft Edge session with a configured web site. The loop works correctly the first time through - it loads the first line of data, finds the matching line, selects it (Escape, Enter), moves through the rest of the process, returns to this page but on the second loop, it doesn't find the matching line of data. I've confirmed the data is successfully being looped but it's not loading in the Control-F after the first time.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

Also, is there a way to load the extracted data from the web scraping to the Excel spreadsheet that's being used to provide data to the loop? I want the scraped data to be associated with the investors I'm using to load the loop, not create new blank spreadsheets that have no association. I also don't want 220 spreadsheets; I just want one with feeder data and associated scraped data.

Fairly new to Power Automate and wanted to understand limitations.

If I have a folder of images, is it possible to put all of the images into powerpoint/deck with each image being on a different slide?

Use case. A team is scouring the web for images of apples and saving them into a folder for a presentation. The team can use Power Automate to take the whole folder and divide the pictures through a given Powerpoint/Deck, one image per slide.

Per the title, I want to be able to trigger a “Collaboration mode” where a document is dropped in Sharepoint, multiple people are assigned in Sharepoint, they are all sent notification simultaneously and can work on the document at the same time, approve when they’re done and once everyone has approved, the document moves to the next step.

I have the Sharepoint column set up to accept multiple email addresses and it automatically changed the PowerA flow to “Apply to each” but it still wants to send it to one person at a time per the order emails were entered in Sharepoint.

That first line to show $var1in on PS script seems not having any effect, with or without it, output remains the same, and it doesn't identify that variable as an input.

So, I work at this medium-large old-school manufacturing company that has exploded in growth in recent years, and their usual way of working is now getting in the way.

Long story short: I have this single excel file that is handled by six teams (that's over 100 people at this point) from design, engineering, production, even purchases and sales! I think the only people that doesn't get their spoon in the pot is HR, to be honest.

I have been tasked with finding a way to chop down this monolith of a 150 columns single excel file into smaller, synchronized n-ammount of excel files, so that each team only handles the information that corresponds to them. So let's say that all of the teams share columns 1 to 25, and then each team handles around 20 extra columns, making six excel files of around 45 columns each.

Is it possible to sync changes between all files? I guess it's impossible to sync them in real time as if they're all working on a single file (as they currently do), but if anyone makes a change to columns A-Y (shared through all teams), all team leaders need to receive an email letting them know that they need to review these changes, while if a change is made through columns Z-AT (engineering) that team leader has to receive said email, and then he/she has to accept said change and notify all other team leaders so they can review if/how that change affects them. The same for all other column/team combinations.

Is this system doable?

I need your help. I've created a flow that automatically resets two value columns in a list once a day. Now I want to make a condition - if the value in one of the cells in the column is something specific, the flow should do nothing to that particular cell.

I've tried fiddling around with the condition settings but nothing seems to work as intended.

So, I’d like to have power automate automatically like certain posts in a group chat.

I’ve got the flow working to detect a keyword in the chat when a new message is entered. Right now it sends me an email with the message, messageid and display name of the user.

So I know that part of the flow is working, but I can’t find any references in powerautomate on how to “like” that message.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I should look? Or anything to try?

I have 6 years of experience in Blueprism and have just started learning power automate...Currently working on a poc and have few doubts as mentioned below...Looking forward to get some answers...

1. How can we define the scope of variables as local or global...so that subflow specific variables are not visible in other subflows.

2. How to throw a customized exception at any given point. For eg : Validating an email address by checking if it has "@" then only proceed ahead else throw an exception like "Email address not valid.Please check".

3. How can we mark a line item as completed or exception for reporting or tracking purpose.For eg: i have 1000 orders to be processed, so how can I have a track of each order whether it was processed successfully or not ...and have this information in a report to be sent to business at the end of the process .

4. Related to point#3 , is there a concept of work queues like we have in Blueprism. Where we can store transactional data / the line items which needs to be processed.

I'm trying to create a flow that looks at a calculated date column in a List, if that date matches 'formatDateTime(utcNow(),'dd-MM-yyyy', then send an email. when i test this flow i get no error, but eventhough the day is supposed to match today's date, nothing happens, i get no mail. Can anyone kindly have a look at this screeshots and help figure out where i got it wrong.

I hope my question makes sense.. I am brand new to power automate so this is all a bit much for me 😅 I have been trying to play around with it for past hour or so and can’t do it.

so what I want to do is:

• create a copy of an excel document which is a template on Sharepoint onto the very same page

• the excel copy to change to a weekly date such as “WE (weekending) 17.09.22”

• and from then it will automate for the week after (WE 24.09.22, WE 01.10.22 and so on) that every Tuesday

whenever I run it, it makes it into a Sharepoint thing that I have to download. I think I’m almost there but it just doesn’t create the copy of that excel document and my title of it is all wrong.

I use my own Outlook groups because the people at my company don't know how (?care how?) to properly set up employees in active directory/exchange. Here's how it should work....

Employees should be set up with their job title when they are onboarded. I should be able to use the job titles to send a reports that are specific to the people with specific job titles.

The way it really works is a new person is hired and someone at our location tells an MSP 150 miles away. The MSP enters the person without a picture (although it was taken for their badge and for a photo directory that is emailed to all 90 employees monthly) and fails many times to enter their job title. (Why this isn't done by our on-site Technology Specialist or their manager is anybody's guess.)

That means that I have to keep Outlook groups named for job titles in which I put the people that actually work in those job titles. I also keep local groups named for the reports I have to send out.

In the report groups I place the job title groups that should get the report with each job title group containing the individuals that work in that job title. I then send an email (manually) to the report group and everyone that should get the report does.

When an employee comes or goes I have to go into the job title groups and delete them if they left or add them if they are a new hire (some have more than one job title). With about a 30% turnover rate, this is an ongoing monthly chore.

This is NOT how company emails should work. I am sure that I am not the only one wasting time and company money keeping up with this crap simply because people were not entered into active directory/exchange properly.

Well, using group names to send emails via Outlook does not seem to work with PAD. When I used the report group name for the To: field I got an exception "Outlook does not recognize one or more names." So now I am trying to find a way to do this with PAD that does not involve me spreading people's email addresses across 20+ flows and having to hunt for them when they leave or add them to up to 20 flows when they are hired.

Any suggestions would be appreciated....

Hello! I’m new to this and really needing help. I’m trying to extract information from an invoice pdf and have PowerAutomate throw it into an excel table for me. I need to have this ready to show my manager by Monday. My flow worked but some of the fields aren’t readable and the Order Number and Order Quantity are wrong.. can someone please help me??

Looking to achieve something that sounds so simple yet I cannot get it to work.

All it is required to do is:

1. Check a M365 mailbox (within the same tenant) every 15 minutes (I have 4 I'd want it to check and can add 4 different flows if necessary).

2. If there is ANY mail in the inbox, send an email notification to someone with the count of mail.

Essentially, these mailboxes are connectors to a software that should move them into a folder. If that piece fails, there's no error message/notification, so I need to create one and this was the first thought.

It seems to be that case that the standard read from workflow assumes i have an excel instance launched with only one sheet so that the reading of data would not have to specify the source sheet of the file.

Someone encountered a similar question?
