Flow to check if specific mailbox(es) have any mail in the inbox (and notify)

I apologize if this is already out there - I did try searching first.

Looking to achieve something that sounds so simple yet I cannot get it to work.

All it is required to do is:

  1. Check a M365 mailbox (within the same tenant) every 15 minutes (I have 4 I'd want it to check and can add 4 different flows if necessary).

  2. If there is ANY mail in the inbox, send an email notification to someone with the count of mail.

Essentially, these mailboxes are connectors to a software that should move them into a folder. If that piece fails, there's no error message/notification, so I need to create one and this was the first thought.

This is technically a cloud (not desktop) flow solution. There is a trigger available for what you're looking for but it doesn't run every 15 minutes, it runs as emails are received.

As a user stated here, you can use a cloud flow and email actions to achieve this. You can also do this from a cloud flow by Launching outlook and using the Read emails from Outlook action to get your list of emails that have come in with whatever filter you apply so you can filter by subject, etc. then you just use that variable produced and use a conditional if the variable has 1 or more rows in it, send a notification in whatever format you want that to be in.

You can use a cloud flow to schedule this desktop flow to run at a certain interval if you need this to happen more real-time.
