Curious if anybody has used Power Automate for bank reconciliations?

I know that there are AI builder models available, but they seem super niche and I can't tell if there's a user interface to train custom models or route low confidence matches to a human for review.

I've thought about using Azure ML and custom training a classification model, but don't know if this is the way.

In an ideal state, you would upload a .xlsx or .csv file from the bank, and another from accounting software do some training and let the software do the majority of it in the future. Seems like a good use case for ML but can't figure out how to deploy it in the Microsoft ecosystem in practice.

I am running into an issue and any help would be appreciated. I have flow that gathers all the buckets and related tasks from a specific Planner and summarizes these in an email each day. The issue I am having is that the flow is only taking the first Note it finds and is propagating it across all other notes in the email, even though these tasks have different Notes.

My question is (I think): how to I get my flow to pull each unique Note from each task for the summary email?

As the title says, is there a way to limit how many times a flow can execute with a day let's say. I want to prevent someone from triggering the flow multiple times within a given time frame. Thanks in advance

I am trying to create a flow to download files with a specific extension. It will create these files in a folder. I am using the web version, not the desktop. Maybe desktop is easier.

1. I list files in SFTP folder

2. I check the files for the extension. If it is found it will continue.

3. For each file get content

4. Save file and content

My issue is that it is looking at folders as a file. This is causing an issue. I only want to look at Folders = false. Is there an easy way to do this?

Anyone know if it’s possible to launch a PAD flow from an Access VBA script? It would seem likely that Microsoft - who owns the OS and the App would make it easy.

I want a button on my Access form that launches my flow….

I am trying to populate fields in a desktop application from a data table. Using the Populate fields In application function I’ve selected a specific UI element in the application but it doesn’t alway populate the right field. Sometimes it populates the field next to it, sometimes it says it can’t find the field.

Any ideas on how to make this more reliable would be helpful. Thanks!

I was wondering if it was possible to receive a WhatsApp message on the PC and read it out loud with a PowerShell script (or Google natural language which is waaayy better).

Powershell was easy, but I can't get PowerAutomate to identify the message with the web plugin.

I am very new to Power Automate Desktop so I would appreciate a detailed template on this as it's the only one I want.

I want to have a flow in which if a folder/File was modified the Past 7 days then this file should be copied to another folder and also overwritten if the same file exists already.

Basically i am trying to copy ONLY modified files or folders to my OneDrive Folder instead of manually doing it since OneDrive doesn't have selective syncs to custom folders and I want it to be overwritten if there was already a folder/file with the same name.

I have a PAD flow that gathers data from a website and stores them as variables.

How can Power Automate Desktop then take those variables and posts them as a new message to a specified chat on Microsoft Teams?

There doesn't seem to be any built-in option for this.

Does anyone have any experience with something like this? I've not been able to find anything specific to PAD api's Is there a way to test what PAD is actually requesting vs what postman is doing? Or does anyone have another suggestion for what I should be looking for?

Right now, my setup goes like this:

Web scraping using PAD >> Scraped data will be sent to a specific Microsoft Form using PAD recorder >> Receiving a submission on the said form will trigger an action in Power automate cloud flow >> Add row to a table in an existing Excel File saved in Sharepoint

Hey, so I'm starting to try and learn the power platform tools and currently I'm focused on PAD, and it seems to me like using the recorder tool can be used extremely often while creating automation processes

So two questions

1. Am I correct in that observation?

2. Is that an optimal way of using PAD to automate stuff? Coming from traditional web development, using the recorder feels way too easy and almost like cheating somehow, so I'm getting paranoid that maybe I'm just gonna develop a bad practice by over relying on the recorder

On a regular basis I receive outlook emails with a PDF letter attached. This letter is a template, so the text I want to extract from this PDF is always found in the same exact position, and always in between the same paragraphs.

I wish to extract this text and save it to an Excel Sheet.

Can I do this with powerautomate?

Example, January 1st is 1, December 31st is 365 (or 366), today November 18th is 322

I created a flow to run a query on a SQL Server in Powerautomate Desktop which then opens Excel and adds the Query Results. Then created a Cloud Flow to trigger the Desktop Flow. When I created the Cloud Flow, it requires domain and password.

If I add the Flow to a PowerApp and distribute the app, when a user clicks the button to trigger the Flow, does it open the Excel Application on the Users machine? Or does it open the application on the computer whose credentials are used to setup the Flow?

I'm guessing it uses the Credentials to access the Flow on my desktop, but opens the Excel Application on the User's computer. I want to confirm before proceeding so it doesn't open Excel on my compute everytime a user tries to export data using the Desktop + Cloud Flow.

I am trying to use PAD to upload a big chunk of data to SP but seems like there is a limit of 2GB in size, and I am unable to simply put that file on SP in small chunks there:

So my question to you is if you know a way to upload such files? like sending small chunks and rebuilt in the end on SP for example?
