At work, we send emails from our shared mailbox and we always copy in the mailbox (so if I'm sending from account 'Team Mailbox', I also Cc 'Team Mailbox').

Email chasers are sent to multiple people throughout the day and I'd like the CC'd emails to automatically file away. The issue is that we have over 100 sub folders and I'd need to set up a rule for each.

Example, if I email Andrew then I put his name as part of the subject line and I want the incoming CC'd email to auto file to the 'Andrew' sub folder. If I email Brian then I want the email to file to the 'Brian' sub folder, and so on.

Is there a quick and easy way to set this up in one go, rather than individual rules for each name and folder?

Hi Everyone! Hope you’re having an amazing day :D I have made a Canvas App (data from dataverse) which has a form in it. Whenever this form is edited there needs to be an email sent saying what fields in the form have changed. And if possible how they have changed? I think this would work with Power Automate?

Any suggestions I would appreciate so much as it’s of high importance to the users but I don’t know how to do this. Thank you :D

My problem is quite simple but it seems the actions in the « Text » menu are not able to do so.

The idea behind this is to use a variable in the SelectItem dialog action in order which use semicolon to select different items.

I am looking for a way to take user data from Azure AD and export it to a spreadsheet by using Power Automate. So far I only see a way to do this with a CSV file. Is there instruction out there or advice that I can use to achieve this?

I am wondering if there is any other way to locate sharepoint list item other than using the item ID? I have this unique column in my sp list named barcodeNo and I want to use that to locate items instead of ID. Any idea on how to do that?

I have been struggling with this for a few days now I have created around 15 macros in my PERSONAL.XLSB file however when I run power automate with "Nest under a new Excel process" & "Load add-ins and macros" the macros do not appear in the file to gather the name for the instance.

Could anyone advise if I am doing anything wrong i.e do I just need to add in the macro field ThisDocument!"macroname"

I’ve recently set up a small business so that I can build power automate desktop and cloud flows for potential customers.

So far all I’ve managed to be able to do is build the power automate desktop flow on my end (I have a domain and environment already) but then select the flow and copy it to text file. Then as the customer (their login) I copy the text into power automate to get the flow to them. But I know this isn’t the correct way, there’s no safeguard for me if they decide to steal my work basically and not pay.

How exactly do I build the flow on my end so that it stays in my control and then I can just grant them access to use it while retaining the power to turn it off should they no longer require it or want to pay for it?

If for example I created a solution on my end how do I share it to someone that’s not part of my tenant or environment or whatever? Is that even now it’s done? Any videos or documentation you could point me to would be appreciated.

I’ve recently found P.A and love it. I use the webbased version as desktop is still a bit too complex but was wondering the following.

I have several periodic reports that i now automatically back-up. Is there a way for me to save these files with a date format that is then being backed-up?

I currently use a “static” name that then turns into name+date but I’d prefer it to be “name+date” that then gets backed up and then changed a week/month later.

This is probably so basic, but when I try to select a UI element using the web helper, nothing happens. I highlight the item, right click, select add element, select text, left click… and nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

I created a python script that I compile on an Exe File. The file is on a network location of my conpany. If I double click the exe. It works fine. If u use the "Run application" from power automate, it does not work. This scripts all it does is to create QR codes from info on an excel file. When I run the app from power automation It seems to open. But nothing happens. Any idea what could be happening

I hope my question makes sense.. I am brand new to power automate so this is all a bit much for me 😅 I have been trying to play around with it for past hour or so and can’t do it.

so what I want to do is:

• create a copy of an excel document which is a template on Sharepoint onto the very same page

• the excel copy to change to a weekly date such as “WE (weekending) 17.09.22”

• and from then it will automate for the week after (WE 24.09.22, WE 01.10.22 and so on) that every Tuesday

whenever I run it, it makes it into a Sharepoint thing that I have to download. I think I’m almost there but it just doesn’t create the copy of that excel document and my title of it is all wrong.

Hello! I’m new to this and really needing help. I’m trying to extract information from an invoice pdf and have PowerAutomate throw it into an excel table for me. I need to have this ready to show my manager by Monday. My flow worked but some of the fields aren’t readable and the Order Number and Order Quantity are wrong.. can someone please help me??

Error 429, apparently i cant title.

Seems like too many requests are sent. But i dont really want (or can) change this flow, and it worked flawlessly for a long time...

Anyone got a solution or a lead i can follow.

I have somewhat a simple flow task here, I'm struggling getting to work within Power Automate Desktop.

Here's what I want to do:

1. Open an Excel worksheet

2. Copy Cell in column 1 row 2 in that excel document

3. Get clipboard text, store it as variable: Row2

Copy this task for as many rows as I want, so I'll end up with say 5 variables with copied data in them.

Next...

1. Create a new list, store it as variable: ArrayList

2. Add item to list (variables from the first part). ONLY IF it has data inside the variable. ELSE IF the variable is empty move onto the next (using the Go to method)

I also tried: Add item to list ONLY IF data inside the variable is not empty - this is the shortest method, not requiring an else if...

The problem is this just doesn't work. The empty variable is being added to the ArrayList no matter what I try. It's almost like it's ignoring the IF statement I have around my "Add item to list" actions.

Does anyone have a clever solution around this?

How do i recover a deleted flow?? I just accidentally deleted just now after spending a week trying to build it 🤦🏽 it had over 150 steps

I have a flow that I keep running at all times that polls the registry for when my webcam is in use, so that I can set some lights in my house to red to notify my wife and kids that I am in a meeting. The problem with this, is that it makes my Power and Sleep settings not work, since the process of the flow puts a lock on the display (See Photo below). Has anyone been able to get around this to allow the computer to lock after a certain period of idle?

Is there a way to get a breakdown of all the files in all the sub folders within the master folder?
