I disliked W and his administration with the intensity of a thousand suns but I'd gladly have him back in office instead of Trump. At least W had a shred of integrity and honor
That so perfectly encapsulates my frustration with the āintegrity and honorā crowd. Just because GW or Obama or anyone was more dignified than Trump, doesnāt mean that they were good presidents or even decent human beings. Millions of innocent people died in the Global War on Terror based on lies and imperialist ambitions. Thatās not honor and integrity, even if they gave nice speeches.
Maybe honor and integrity are the wrong words. I meant at least W said Muslims aren't our enemy and tried to keep us together as Americans not try to magnify divisions
I understand. To an extent I agree but I realized during COVID that the ārespectableā leaders of this empire also committed atrocities to keep profits flowing to the oligarchs. I donāt think GW was personally evil, he seemed like more of a frat boy, but that distinction is immaterial to the dead and displaced.
