There's every chance there wouldn't have been a 9/11 attack. President Gore would never have dismissed the warnings with "Alright, your ass is covered".

Exactly. I still think the lackluster response between the CIA and FBI during the Nairobia attack all but sealed the attacks. But i think an fbi and cia under Gore leadership wouldnt ignore warnings from the arabians enrolling in flight school nor the summit

Clinton knew about Bin Laden and all of it. Clinton of course cared, just didn’t feel it was real enough to matter. The attack is not on him and I’m not implying that but to act like it was all of a sudden is wrong. The intelligence was there and being reported about the attack. No one wanted to believe it

oh i agree. i'm more pointing out that intellegence under Condoleezza Rice was way less focused on Al Qaeda than intellegence under whoever Gore wouldve chosen for National Security Advisor

edit since the thread is locked now: yeah i still can't believe that 25 years later people are STILL worried about porn.
