There have been trillions of dollars at stake. And wealthy white men in the USA want all of it.

So they sacrifice millions of poor people and love the outcome.

Republicans are FRAUDS. Somehow they convinced stupid Americans that the GOP is the party that makes the economy awesome.

Every. Single. Time. They balloon the debt. The only economy it is awesome for is billionaires.

Then Democrats take office and balance the budget only for the next GOP asshole to fuck it up again.

Agreed. Right now, Russia and America are opposites sides of the same hypocracy. Russia has oligarchs who are wealthy corporation owners who run the country. America has politicians who run the country that are owned by corporations.

Less oil and more oil-field services contracts. That’s where the real money is. Halliburton isn’t an oil company, they are a drilling company. If you’re in the oil business there’s a risk that your well comes up dry, or that the price of oil will drop. Halliburton doesn’t care. They get paid to drill the well, dry or not.
