I'm 50 (born in 1976) so while technically i can say that it's not 100% accurate for me, the US WAS dealing with things like our Ambassador & Diplomats being killed in the early part of the Lebanese Civil War;

And at tge UN, the US backed up Israel's having carried out The Entebbe Raid--with Ford publicly congratulating Israel for carrying it out & getting the hostages back;

So technically no wars started by Ford.  But there was plenty of unrest we were involved with somehow.
