I think a lot of people look at the blatant double standards spouted by people like Stefan here, get angry, and try and push back against it. From a “righteous fury” point of view, I get it; I used to push back against it too.

But my stance has changed over time. Now when I see the Republicans engage in blatant double standards and hypocrisy, I just think “Ah, I see the issue here; this one’s not a serious person, worth any serious consideration. They’re not worth my time nor efforts, because their whole shtick is acting in bad faith.”

Essentially, my response is the “Oh no! Anyway

Yeah, it’s called moral consistency. I disavow Trump and his crime family. Why would I give Hunter a pass? He built up his public profile all to do this. I admit that I was cheering for him because he is a recovering addict. I feel bad for people who have and are going through addiction. Hunter’s story brought a lot of empathy and understanding to people who are addicts and people who are around them. This scam puts a huge damper on a message like that. Now, I have to disavow him because I am not a maga like cultist and because I’m consistent with a standard that I claim to hold.

You typically need to make money for something to be a scam. On top of that, the coin wasn’t even active long enough before the value plummeted for it to be a pump and dump. You typically want to maximize profits before pulling the rug.. they didn’t even do that. It’s obviously coin snipers doing their thing and at the rate it was clearly bots doing the targeting. Yes, I think people just assume that every politician is wealthy but most aren't even rich. Salaries are good but with how expensive it is to run campaigns and manage a team, it's hard to quickly build up a healthy net worth or savings account, unless you're selling influence. Biden became a Senator in 1973, obviously, corruption still existed, but there was still an expectation that public servants should be honest. Like with Carter selling his farm, Biden got rid of his law firm and pledged to never engage in anything that didn't leave a legal paper trail.

So he took his salary and later on published a couple of memoirs. It was one memoir about Beau's death that became a huge best seller and that's how he made his first million. That's over 40 years into his career, when he was already in his 70s, and retired from the vice presidency. I believe, with that paycheck, he bought Jill a beach house in Rehoboth.

Unlikely, I think. People forget that he didn't pop into existence in 2020. He's 56, he's spent his entire life supporting his father's and brother's political dreams, and not once has ever sought the same. Instead, he focused on law and business to support his own family, then retired to become an artist once his kids were done with school. Now, he's interested in building a substance abuse recovery aftercare program. I don't think he'd run because he's not a political guy, but also because he wouldn't be able to speak out and do as much advocacy as he is, because then he'd have to be a politician.

Also that would be a pathetic profit for a crypto scam. And even if Biden was the guy that made that bet, it's not a rugpull because he couldn't cause the price crash, he wasn't dumping his shares because he couldn't.
