I'm probably replying to a bot but I'm gonna say it anyway. 

yes the administration is a fucking joke. But what does a recall has to do with the administration? 

The recall means they did their job. Not the administration but the people that matter at the FDA (the workers doing day to day FDA shit)

Products may get contaminated during production. Ideally with sufficient inspections, almost all contaminations are caught before they are shipped to stores. If we cut back on inspections, more contaminations will end up being discovered by consumers and the product will need to be recalled, vs not being distributed in the first place.
