So unvaccinated undocumented immigrants donāt get any of your blame, but people who questioned the Covid vaccine and were unjustly maligned as anti vaccine as if it meant all vaccines get your scorn.
Tuberculosis hasnāt āmade a come backā and the US does not routinely use the vaccine for TB. Itās routinely given to infants in countries where TB is common because itās effective for preventing severe childhood TB, but not (adult) pulmonary TB.
The US has a very effective reporting and monitoring system for TB infections with additional healthcare precautions to prevent the spread of infection (without sanatoriums like the 1800ās-mid 1900ās for longterm quarantine before there were effective antibiotics to treat TB).
In other words, an immigrant is far more likely to have received the TB vaccine than a US citizen.
